new beginnings
New Beginnings is a weekend retreat focusing on the
2 greatest commandments: loving God with all of our heart, mind, and
strength, and loving our neighbors as ourselves. The retreat is led
by a team of youth and adults from around the diocese.
What do students do at the retreat?
Student participants are engaged in a fun and deeply
meaningful program including talks about faith, family, friendship,
and peer pressure. There is also rich worship with excellent music.
And don't forget games, skits, and small group discussion.
Who is the retreat for?
Students in grades 6-8 of the current school year.
When and Where is the event held?
April 23-25, 2010 @ Grace Cathedral, Topeka. Click here for map. Registration will begin at 7 pm on Friday evening, and the event will end at 3 pm on Sunday.
